MAHRS Students Visit EU Delegation in Kyrgyzstan as Part of EU Politics Module

Students of the Master’s Programme in Human Rights and Sustainability (MAHRS) visited the Delegation of the European Union to the Kyrgyz Republic as part of the week-long EU Politics module led by Dr. Clara Portela, Professor at the University of Valencia.

The visit provided students with valuable insights into the EU Delegation’s establishment and work in Kyrgyzstan, including its ongoing development cooperation initiatives. Representatives of the Delegation shared information about the EU’s key projects in the areas of education, water management, energy, and justice, highlighting the Union’s commitment to supporting sustainable development and good governance in the region.

This educational visit offered MAHRS students a practical understanding of how international partnerships and EU-funded programmes contribute to promoting human rights, sustainability, and regional development in Central Asia.
