Who We Are

The Child Leadership Team (CLT) is a group of motivated school students aged 13–17 who are actively involved in promoting children’s rights in Kyrgyzstan and Central Asia.
Formed under the Children’s Rights Initiative at the OSCE Academy, CLT members are not just participants — they are young leaders, advocates, and changemakers.

Through regular meetings, discussions, and hands-on activities, the team learns about human rights, develops leadership skills, and works together to create meaningful change in their schools and communities.

Our Projects and Initiatives

CLT members lead and contribute to various creative and educational initiatives aimed at raising awareness about children’s rights:

  • “My Rights” Reels Contest
A creative video contest where participants express their understanding of children’s rights through short videos. CLT members help organize, promote, and judge submissions.
  • Workshop Facilitation
CLT students take part in organizing workshops for peers and younger students, helping to share knowledge about children’s rights in interactive and relatable formats.
  • Children’s Rights Book Club
A monthly space where CLT members and other young participants read and discuss books related to children’s experiences and rights. The club encourages critical thinking and empathy through literature.
