From April 2-4, 2025, representatives from the OSCE Academy and Global Campus Central Asia (GC CA) visited Tashkent to meet partners and conduct admission exams for MA programs.

April 2: UN and OSCE Discussions
Dr. Anja Mihr (MAHRS Academic Director), Ms. Victoria Orazova (Head of International Department), and Ms. Aiym Chotoeva (MAHRS Programme Specialist) met UN and OSCE representatives to explore joint activities, strengthening the regional presence of the OSCE Academy and GC CA in Central Asia.

April 3: University Visits
The team visited two partner institutions: the University of World Economy and Diplomacy (UWED) and the Central Asian University of Environmental and Climate Change Studies (Green University).

• At UWED: Discussions with Dr. Akram Umarov (First Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs), Dr. Serikbek Murataliev (Dean of International Law Faculty), Ms. Gavkhar Mirkhalilova (Head of International Academic Cooperation Office), and Ms. Fatima Mirakilova (International Academic Partnerships Coordinator) focused on continuing academic mobilities and joint regional events.

• At Green University: Rector Prof. Bakhtiyor Pulatov, Mr. Sokhib Xizirov (Head of International Cooperation Department), and Ms. Pokiza Juraeva (Chief Specialist, International Cooperation) explored academic mobility and collaborations on environment, climate change, climate justice, and sustainable development. The visit concluded with the signing of an Academic Exchange Agreement between Green University and the OSCE Academy.

Dr. Mihr then delivered a guest lecture at both universities on the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Central Asia. Students actively participated, asking about SDG implementation regionally and globally, transitional justice, OSCE Academy MA programs, and related opportunities.
