MAHRS Students Participate in the Regional Coordination Meeting of the Youth Sounding Boards of Central Asia

From 31 October to 2 November 2025, MA in Human Rights and Sustainability (MAHRS) students Kristina Ryabova (2024-2026 cohort) and Gala Abushahmanova (2025-2027 cohort) took part in the Regional Coordination Meeting of the Youth Sounding Boards (YSBs) of Central Asia, held in Tashkent.

The meeting brought together representatives of Youth Sounding Boards from across Central Asia to review their ongoing work, strengthen regional cooperation, and jointly develop action plans for the upcoming two years — the period covered by the current YSB mandates.

Kristina Ryabova and Gala Abushahmanova are members of the national Youth Sounding Boards to the EU Delegations in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, respectively. The YSBs serve as consultative platforms that ensure meaningful youth participation in the design, implementation, and evaluation of EU initiatives in the region.
