On 19 June 2025, Humboldt University in Berlin will host a high-level roundtable titled “Human Rights in Times of European Contestation and Transformation”. The event marks an important step in the ongoing cooperation between Humboldt University, the Global Campus of Human Rights, and the OSCE Academy in Bishkek, particularly through the active involvement of Dr. Anja Mihr, Academic Director of the MA in Human Rights and Sustainability (MAHRS) at the OSCE Academy and representative of the Global Campus Central Asia.
Held within the framework of the Summer School on Human Rights and Democratic Transformation, the roundtable will bring together internationally renowned experts and policymakers to discuss how democratic institutions and human rights protections are being challenged across Europe—and what can be done to respond.
