MAHRS Graduate Pokiza Juraeva Joins ANFREL as Intern in Bangkok with Support from the Global Campus of Human Rights

The Global Campus Central Asia is pleased to announce that Ms. Pokiza Juraeva, a recent graduate of the Master of Arts in Human Rights and Sustainability (MAHRS), Class of 2025, has commenced her internship with the Asian Network for Free Elections (ANFREL) in Bangkok, Thailand, as of 1 March 2025.

This professional placement is part of Ms. Juraeva’s academic and career development, supported by the Global Campus Internship Award. As one of the recipients of this competitive grant, Ms. Juraeva has been awarded a monthly scholarship of €1,000 for a period of five months to carry out her internship in the field of human rights and electoral integrity.

The internship at ANFREL offers an invaluable opportunity to engage with regional efforts aimed at strengthening democratic processes and promoting free and fair elections in Asia. It reflects the MAHRS programme’s continued commitment to equipping graduates with practical experience and international exposure in the field of human rights.
