This week, Dr. Anja Mihr, Academic Director of MAHRS and Global Campus Central Asia at the OSCE Academy, began a four-week summer school on ‘Human Rights and Democracy in Times of Crises’, in collaboration with Humboldt University in Berlin and Global Campus. Ms. Veronica Gomez, president of the GC, and Dr. Manfred Nowak, Secretary General of the Global, did their kick-off sessions on Human Rights and Democratic Transformation in Times of Crisis at Humboldt University in Berlin, Germany.
The University hosted a roundtable with Global Campus representatives, featuring Barbara Lochbihler, a former member of the European Parliament and a member of the UN Committee Against Enforced Disappearances, on the topic of Human Rights in Times of European Contestation on June 19, 2025, at Humboldt University.
